Redefining femininity in snow sports. There is a need for a shifting garment that performs in the winter sport environment and apres ski leisure wear. Flux is a layered multifunctional system that works within the states of active and leisure. It is inspired by the extreme shifting weather that it is designed for so the uncertainty of climate change is represented in this collection that redefines femininity.
Project lead to a job at a fashion brand (Perfect Number) based on ability to demonstrate skillsets for fashion industry.

Climate Change Debate
There is a lack of agreement in the outdoor business industry. There are corporations spending time and money on building sustainable programs with the belief that the ski industry is coming to an end. There are industry leaders that look at our seasons massive dumps and record breaking close dates as an argument against climate change. How can we be having record breaking snowfall if "global warming" exists?
The answer is simple.

Layer One: What if your clothes were like a second skin and regulated your temperature like bats?
Layer Two: What if there was a natural fiber that could keep you warm and also be waterproofed?
Layer Three + Four : What if there was a fabric that changed translucency like the way colors change through the seasons?
